SHIPPING FAQS
How will you ship my order?
Our
shipments may travel via USPS FIRST CLASS OR by USPS PRIORITY MAIL, so
please provide both street and postal addresses, if applicable. Large
or heavy items are generally shipped via PRIORITY MAIL. We ask that,
when possible, you please provide an address where a daytime recipient
is available.
Seed Only Orders
If your order only consists of
seed purchases, then it will be sent First Class Mail. We pack all
seeds in a padded envelope to ensure safe delivery. Your order will
also contain instructions to help you for a successful germination.
Your shipping cost includes all the costs of packaging, labeling,
sorting and instructions.
Cutting, Rooted Plant and/or Seed Orders
If
your order contains cuttings or rooted plants, with or without seed
purchases, it will be sent PRIORITY MAIL. We package all cuttings and
rooted plants with sufficient padding to ensure safe delivery and
reduced stress during transit. Plumeria plants are succulents and can
handle long periods of drought, so transit is rarely an issue in terms
of heat and moisture. Rooted plants will be packaged without a pot with
the rootball wrapped securely. Please address these as soon as they are
delivered to avoid additional stress.
International Orders
Orders
shipped outside of the Continental United States are shipped via USPS
First Class Mail. Currently, only seed orders are being fulfilled for
international customers. Please note that on orders of 50 or more
seeds, they will be sent in packages of 50 seed increments. This
procedure is to avoid issuance and costs associated with a
phyto-sanitary certificate. We can combine international orders into
one package for orders of over 50 seeds but there will be an addional
cost for the phyto-sanitary certificate issuance. Please contact us if
this is your preference. We plan to start shipping cuttings and rooted
plants internationally very soon, so please check back or contact us.
We
cannot be responsible for delivery problems due to incorrect addresses.

When will you ship my order?
We
ship our seeds and cuttings/plants are shipped daily after the order
has been processed and funds have cleared. Cuttings, Rooted Plants and
Seeds are all shipped in the same container, unless you give us other
instructions.
We sell and ship cuttings, seeds and rooted
plants year long. Please ensure that if ordering rooted plants during
the colder months that they will be dormant till spring or when it
warms up in your area. Please keep these plants indoors till weather
permits.
What methods of shipping are available and what is the cost?
Please
note: The cost of fuel continues to affect everyone, and we were
disappointed to learn of another increase in shipping costs by the US
Postal Service. Shipping Venders have raised their rates again
(unfortunately, this can happen on a monthly basis), and we cannot
continue to absorb the amount. We have revised our Packing and Delivery
Charges reflected below. We continue to charge the bare minimum for
shipping and only cover our costs for shipping and materials. We want
you to enjoy these plants as we do and strive to provide the best value.
In the rare event we split your order into multiple packages, we will
notify you via email. Please see international orders for our policies for shipping products overseas.
Insurance
We
insure all of the packages we process. If for any reason your purchase
is damaged in transit, please inform us right away and keep the
original container your order was delivered in. We will instruct you on
how to proceed via email for a claim, return or exchange.

Can I postpone shipment of my order?
If you need to postpone shipment of your order, please contact our Customer Service Department by emailing otis@plumeriaparadise.com.
(The office is staffed 9am-6pm Pacific time, Monday-Friday). Please
include your order number or order confirmation number and the
requested ship date in your email. We will make every effort to
accommodate your request.
Do you ship overseas or to Alaska, Hawaii, or Canada?
Yes,
we can ship any SEED orders to Alaska, Hawaii, APO/FPO addresses,
Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands, or to any addresses outside the U.S.
At this time we do not ship CUTTINGS or ROOTED PLANTS overseas but we
plan to soon. Please check back.
Can you deliver to a P.O. box?
We
can deliver smaller orders to a P.O. Box. Seed orders and Gift
certificates are sent via US mail, so a P.O. Box must be given if that
is the mailing address; we do prefer to ship our cuttings and rooted
plants to a street address. Large items can be delivered only to a
street address.
Can you deliver to my business address?
We can deliver to your place of business. When placing your order please indicate the shipping address you would like to use.
How can I track the delivery of my order?
If
you have provided us with a valid e-mail address we will notify you
when your order has shipped and is on its way to you. We will provide a
Priority Mail tracking number when available so that you can track your
shipment as it is enroute to you. Your shipment is also always insured
when buying from Plumeria Paradise. Please note that it may take 24
hours for available information from a tracking number to be updated.
Seed orders are shipped USPS FIRST CLASS MAIL and there is no tracking
information provided but the item is INSURED.
